Case Study: Rear Mounted Sweeper to suit an Iseki TH - Hydraulic Drive

The Iseki TH is a sturdy workhorse, with plenty of power and hydraulic flow, ideal for doing jobs around sites like Parks, Schools and Golf courses. We often get asked to fit a sweeper to this superb machine. If you are looking for a sweeper to clear debris and moss, look after an artificial surface or sweep your access roads, then a rear hydraulic driven sweeper is just what you need. 

Kersten develop some of the most compact and easy to use sweepers on the market, and the KM52 range is ideal for this tractor. 

This hydraulically driven sweeper is available in several widths; from 1.5m to 2.25m with an impressive, but not power hungry 52cm diameter brush. The 5-row spiral brush easily copes with heavy and voluminous debris and is perfect for clearing up tasks on hard surfaces.

The KM52 can be fitted with a dust suppression kit. This works by wetting the dust, making the particles heavier, so they can be easily collected in the large collection box.

The items used in this project were as follows:

1. KM 15052 Hydraulic drive sweeper
2. ABR 52 HECK 3 point linkage mounting bracket
3. SSB 15052 collecting box
4. WAS 100 KM 52

The KM 52 range can be easily adjusted for height and the angle can be adjusted using a manual setting bar, or an optional hydraulic cylinder.

The collector box can be operated hydraulically using the same double acting set of spools as the main brush.

Alternatives;

It is also possible to mount a sweeper to the front of the Iseki TH range. This would require a CAT 0 front linkage for lift and lower of the attachment. A good alternative on the front would be the KM 15045 H
